Intake Coordinator & Psychotherapist

As a psychotherapist and a member of the intake team, I wholeheartedly believe that making the choice to start therapy is a courageous one. My therapeutic stance involves a person-centered style, focusing on client choice and autonomy to make life decisions while acting as an informed, and collaborative guide along the way. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, honesty, and authenticity, all while using humor and humility. I strongly believe in taking a non-judgmental and compassionate approach with all individuals I work with – it’s one of my favorite parts of doing this kind of work.

I have a passion for supporting adults with anxiety, depression and navigating life transitions. Additionally, I enjoy working with parents during the postpartum transition and into parenthood. I especially enjoy supporting individuals who feel disconnected in their relationships, struggle with vulnerability, and may be new or skeptical to starting therapy. I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Motivational Interviewing and my personal favorite, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Loyola University Chicago and my master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with teens in a school setting, women in a community mental health setting, and received extensive clinical training during a post-graduate fellowship with the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic (DASC).
