Meghan Hutten, MS, LMFT
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I am uniquely trained to treat couples and individuals with a variety of issues, ranging from problems with intimacy or communication to struggles with balancing personal and professional roles through various life transitions. I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate difficult relationship issues, the transition to parenthood, and challenging emotional problems, such as anxiety, postpartum depression, grief, infidelity, and infertility.
I create a respectful and safe space for clients to explore and express their thoughts and emotional vulnerabilities so they can develop meaningful insight and create lasting change. I help you transform the patterns, roles, and relationships that keep you feeling stuck and to help you find the person that you want to be as a partner, a parent, and a professional.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northwestern University and then continued at Northwestern to earn my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, where I received extensive training using a systemic, evidence-based approach to patient care. I recently completed the Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training for Mental Health and Clinical Professionals led by Postpartum Support International. I am currently in the process of obtaining certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based, compassionate therapeutic approach.
