About Reyna Schwartz, PsyD, PMH-C (she/her)

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and clinical supervisor at Wildflower Center for Emotional Health. I believe my role as a therapist is to act as a guide in helping individuals work toward living a meaningful life in accordance with their values. My clinical work focuses on the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, and women's health issues.

Unwanted painful thoughts and emotions often get in the way of connecting with the life we want for ourselves. I aim to create a warm and supportive environment where these experiences can be explored collaboratively and openly. I utilize mindfulness and acceptance -based strategies to help individuals develop skills to create meaningful change while feeling supported and guided through the process.

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Iowa and completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive training in treating mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders. I draw from a number of evidence- based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), exposure-based therapies, and other mindfulness-based interventions to help meet each individual’s needs. I am also a certified perinatal mental health clinician (PMH-C).
