Dealing with distress alone and without support is rarely effective or healthy. At a time when our world is being turned upside down by the pandemic and physical distancing creates an intense potential for isolation, it is important to seek connection and support. The group offers a virtual gathering space and an opportunity to learn, connect, and practice being intentional about how we manage stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and low mood during these turbulent times. The primary focus of the group is the practice of mindfulness meditation and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) skills.
The group will be held via a secure, telehealth platform and you can participate from the comfort of your home. There is no minimum session commitment to join the group and the group has rolling admission. The group flyer can also be found here.
