Based on the research and therapeutic practice of Drs John and Julie Gottman, Principles of Successful Relationships: An Introductory Workshop for Couples is designed to help couples who are committed to making their relationship succeed. This introductory workshop is facilitated by Marco Renzi, LCSW, PMH-C of Wildflower Center for Emotional Health, a trained facilitator in The Seven Principles to Making Marriages Work curriculum. Marco will present an overview of decades of powerful research on thriving relationships and help you build insight into practices and skills that contribute to happy relationships. There will also be time for couples to engage in an exercise to help strengthen their bond and connection.
Please note that this is an educational workshop and not couples therapy. It is not appropriate for all couples, such as those with severe relationship distress, emotional abuse, domestic violence, and those experiencing active addictions that are impacting the relationship. If you have questions about whether the workshop would be a good fit for you and partner, please reach out to us before signing up.
