We are proud to partner with Thrive Counseling Center in Oak Park, IL to offer a virtual talk on how to better understand and detect the pandemic’s impact on developmental transitions for teens. Thrive Talks are open to the public and free of charge. More about this upcoming learning opportunity:
In this hour-long Thrive Talk, Dr. Hillary Urban will lead a discussion on parenting issues which may be heightened during the COVID-19 pandemic, including:
– how teens express anxiety and depression,
– the impact of the pandemic on teens, and
– the challenges teens may experience during periods of transition
Dr. Urban is a therapist at Wildflower Center for Emotional Health. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
