Whether one is new to therapy or returning from a break, finding a new therapist can be overwhelming. Regardless of where you are in your healing journey, I admire you for taking the first step! My main priority is my clients and I aim to create a non-judgmental, collaborative, and compassionate environment where I can be a partner in your therapeutic experience.

I believe in authenticity and genuine connections in my therapy practice. I always aim to create an open and supportive relationship with all my clients and incorporate any feedback into our future work. My goal is to help guide clients through their personal healing journey and I strongly believe in open and collaborative therapist relationships. In the right moments, I tend to use a light-hearted and humorous approach. Whatever you need, I want you to get the most out of our sessions together.

Coming from a multicultural background, I honor and respect the ways in which cultural values and norms shape our experience. I am a biracial Latina and have worked with clients of different backgrounds. My experiences have allowed me to reflect and prioritize how culture, social and political climates, and familial roles affect one’s mental health. While I do not practice therapy entirely in Spanish, I am fluent, and I can understand if you best express yourself in Spanish.

My clinical interests include working with perinatal and reproductive mental health (postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth trauma, fertility journeys), parenting children with unique health challenges, and changing roles as parents. I am also passionate about health advocacy and believe validation and support play a critical role in one’s healing journey.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s Degree in Social Work at The University of Illinois at Chicago. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) I am undergoing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe core self beliefs shape our daily lives, whether or not we are aware. I aim to identify and challenge negative core beliefs while holding space for what makes you special is deeply healing. If that resonates with you, I am here to walk alongside you when you’re ready.
