As an administrative assistant at Wildflower, I provide support with office organization, documentation, and billing. I received my BA from DePaul University in criminology with a minor in applied psychology. I am currently a first year graduate student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology working towards my MA in counseling psychology. In my professional career I have worked in various childcare settings, learning about child development and psychology. More recently, I have acquired experience in a research setting conducting interviews with people experiencing homelessness and/or substance abuse.
My own life experiences have led me down the path of psychology due to how strongly I believe in the importance of mental and emotional well-being. Everybody, regardless of race, class, gender, or sexual orientation deserves access to quality care for their own mental well-being.
During my free time, I like to engage in movement through music. Whether that be dance, yoga or playing my ukulele, these outlets allow me to release stress and become present again. I am grateful to be a part of the Wildflower team!
