Feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about your path forward? Just because you can handle it alone, doesn’t mean you have to. Together we can find the way to a more fulfilling and balanced life. By taking steps to understand the root of our emotions we are empowered to forge new paths towards healing and growth. My goal is to work alongside you, encouraging you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and identifying opportunities for personal growth.

In the therapy space, I believe in understanding how our past experiences shape our present thoughts and behaviors in our day to day. Through understanding our patterns we can begin to challenge ourselves and make change. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative, and sometimes challenging space where you feel comfortable exploring these aspects of yourself, helping you grow and find more satisfying ways of living.

As a therapist I work from an anti-oppressive and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming space with an emphasis on trauma informed work. I have experience in working with individuals overcoming childhood trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, mood disorders, as well as relationship and parenting issues. I practice from a psychodynamic and attachment theory perspective, while incorporating mindfulness and somatic regulation skills into sessions. I am also interested in working with presentations related to identity development, perinatal and reproductive mental health, as well as grief and loss.

I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in social welfare and my master’s in clinical mental health counseling from DePaul University. I am trained in psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, and phase oriented trauma treatment. Prior to Wildflower, I spent a decade working in tech companies before going back to school for my master’s degree and completing my clinical training with a non-profit community mental health organization.
